All those who want a certificate as tantric yoga teachers are invited to join us at this August 2018 retreat in Portugal for our certified Awake yoga teacher training program.
People from Europe and all over the world are invited to the gorgeous land of Portugal for an in-depth training on the path of Yoga, Tantra and Mindfulness in a teacher training course certified by the International Yoga Alliance, taking place at Awakeland Portugal - a beautiful retreat place in the midst of nature in between the Monchique mountains and the Atlantic at the sun-drenched Algarve coast.
Our certified 200 hours teacher training offers a thorough foundation combining traditional Hatha yoga and Tantric teachings, while incorporating a specific focus on Yin Fascial Yoga and Mindfulness. We have created a unique program which will provide you with the proper tools for your ever deepening practice and teaching. If you would like to learn how to become a skilled and professional yoga teacher, this training program is for you.
The training is about an in-depth study of Yang Hatha asana sequences combined with Yin Fascial Yoga for a more balanced practice and teaching. We'll teach you the way to to bring the two complementary qualities together in perfect harmony. Yin Fascial Yoga comprises the teachings of traditional Yin Yoga, which focuses on releasing emotional and physical tensions in the Myofascial tissue. Slow and mindful movements are powerful techniques which allow for Myofascial Release and make Yin yoga, Daoism and Mindfulness an invitation to come back to what it is to be truly in the body!
We will experience Tantric initiation rituals and a intensive study of Tantric yoga philosophy for a contemporary and holistic approach to the understanding and practice of “Tantric Yoga”. The training will also concentrate on the subject of empowerment to prepare new teachers to develop their potential as strong, compassionate and knowledgeable leaders. We'll work with full body awareness and exploration of the tantric chakra system, moving to connect the practice of hatha yoga with the inner healing powers we all have. Specific techniques of tantra and its three levels will be introduced in order to experience authentic teachings in sacred sexuality.
The body will be purified and readied through specific tapas (spiritual practices) we take together for the duration of the course. The direct experience of the slow, fascial yin practices will align us more with grounding energies of nature and we will bear witness and reveal our true self.
With this new certification training you'll have the chance to step into the role of a coach, educator or mentor upon completion of the course. The International Yoga alliance certification is professionally recognised in Europe as well as everywhere else in the world.
The training includes plenty of free time to enjoy the marvelous Algarve nature, either hiking in the Monchique mountains, relaxing at one of the world’s most beautiful beaches, enjoying the sights and cultural life of the ancient cities of the Algarve or surfing in fabulous conditions on Portugal’s famed west coast a mere 15 min drive away.
