Awakeland offers a variety of accommodation options...
At Awakeland Portugal we try to use the most sustainable possible architecture, recycled materials for construction, adapting to our land and our needs.
ROOMS, TIPS & BELL TENTS

Yoni Village Rooms constructed from recycled marine shipping containers: individual, double or triple
They are comfy and cozy nests in a U-shape, creating an atmosphere of co-existence with all present. In the middle, we have a chill-out area to make the most of the sun or moon, in silence or sharing, to enjoy alone or with others.

Tipis & Bell Tents (aka Glamping)
For those looking for a different experience, we have single tipis (Native American tents), or Bell Tents - with 2 single beds in each bell tent, with all bedding and a shower towel provided. Its architecture creates a unique environment: in touch with the wild side of nature while still maintaining the comfort and space of a room. (Available May-October)

Nomad House Dormitory
Our newly built wooden house has 2 rooms of 10 beds in each, with a 3rd room with kitchenette, 2 showers and 2 compost toilets

Camping Area
We have a camping area reserved for tents, with trees, colour and the sounds of nature, a perfect place to sleep, to rest and awaken. (This option is for festivals and gatherings only, not retreats).

Toilets & Showers
We aim to be as eco-friendly as we can be, and therefore use eco dry toilets in an effort to save water and reduce sewage waste being pumped into the ocean, as well as flushing toilets, which are fed into our tree irrigation, water recycling system. We have indoor and outdoor showers, and the grey water from these is directed into the land to water the plants, which is why we ask guests to only use eco-friendly products in the shower. If you need eco soap, please ask us!

THE MAIN HOUSE
​
In the Main House, there is a kitchen with a dining area where the meals are served.
​
Surrounding the eating area we have different spaces where one can comfortably relax and enjoy the environment.
​
Since Awakeland Portugal is located in a high-risk fire zone, smoking is prohibited in the entire space with the exception of designated smoking area - The Smoking Temple, which is specifically designed for that purpose.

GROUP ROOMS
Domes
Group spaces are geodomes with a circular structure. They are welcoming, cozy and comfortable, ideal for various different types of workshops/events.
* AIR Dome with 350 m2- complete with sound system, microphone, video projector possibility and air conditioning. View of nature and near the lake.
* FIRE Dome with 160 m2- complete with sound system, microphone, video projector possibility and air conditioning. View of nature and the fruit trees plantation.
* WATER Dome with 80m2- complete with sound system, microphone, video projector possibility and air conditioning. View of nature and one of the lakes.
All these spaces can be rented for retreats, events, sessions or workshops that align with the principles of Awakeland Portugal.
