We are using different active meditations, to create space inside us, to feel our beauty, our light and see it reflected in the others, to feel the pulse of existence and let this energy carry us into the experience of oneness. Osho created revolutionary meditation techniques, using music and body expression in his active meditations as a pathway to connect to our inner silence. Throwing out the stress and tension which is accumulated during a busy daily life, energising the body through movement, through dance, through laughter, every cell of our body starts vibrating again, and feeling fully alive, the flow of the universe can be felt, inside of us and all around us, allowing us to feel the simplicity and the joy, so that we can  give up control and are able to relax and trust the flow of life, to enjoy our spiritual journey into our own awakening.

His teachings have been a golden thread accompanying our lives since we first met him in Poona, India in the seventies. Living in his presence and experiencing his love, his silence and his beauty, together with thousands of friends in this same energy field, in this silence… initiated a deep transformation in us, washing away old wounds and concepts, allowing us to connect to ourselves and to others in a loving and joyful way. Being in nature, away from the many activities of urban life, connected to the earth and the sky, helps to connect with our inner space, to feel ourselves as part of the universe in its beauty and its simplicity.

Music is outer meditation: meditation is inner music. They go together, hand in hand, embracing each other. It is one of the greatest experiences of life when music is there surrounding you, overwhelming you, flooding you, and meditation starts growing in you – when meditation and music meet, world and God meet, matter and consciousness meet. That is Unio Mystica – the mystic union.  - Osho

Harida, born in 1949, in Chile, studied classical drums and percussion at the conservatory in Santiago and Rome, before cocreating one of the principal avant-garde and Latin Fusion projects of the seventies in Spain, Mirasol Colores. Intrigued with Eastern mythology and music, he traveled to India in 1977, spending several years there, devoted to meditation and the study of Indian music, learning to play santoor and tabla.

Living in Osho's community in Poona and playing music during the meditations in His presence shifted his perception and style of music, powerful rhythms carrying a silence within the sounds, music as a tool to connect with the inner being, to promote healing and presence, living in this moment.

His love for music, the joy in connecting through rhythm with others, on stage as a performer or working with groups is his focus during the past 30 years. Harida co-founded Nazca Music in 1995, in Holland, and recorded and released more then 30 albums since, his own as well as other artists. Since 1999 he moved to Portugal, where he is involved in recordings, performances and the organisation of meditation retreats and the yearly Osho Festival of Music and Meditation at his place in Alentejo.

Nartan, born 1956 in Germany, studied social work, and worked several years with children and handicapped youth and in integration projects of immigrant families. Starting with her own personal development she found interest in alternative healing therapies like Bioenergetics and Screaming therapy, and involved herself in the Bio energetic Training from 1976-1978. This education lead to the connection with disciples of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, a much talked about spiritual teacher from India in that time, and so her path took her to Poona, India in 1979.

She stayed in India in His ashram for the following two years, learning about meditation and body work ( Rebalancing Training). These years in India had a profound impact on her way of living. After returning to Europe, she continued living and working in Osho Communities, where she learned a wide range of skills, cooking, cleaning, bar, disco, handyman, accountant... as well as working as a massage therapist and guide in Osho Meditations.

In 1986 she moved out of the commune and started a very successful massage praxis in Hamburg and began teaching massage, usually being able to spend a couple of month in winter in Poona, India.

In 1990 she moved to Amsterdam, Holland, with her new partner Harida, together they started the record label Nazca Music and managed their recording studio, continuing to spend the winter month in Poona. In 1999 Nartan and Harida moved with the recording studio to their new home in Portugal. After renovating an old ruin, they began working with the studio, and creating a space for music and meditation.

Through their participation in many fairs and festival with music and meditation they got well known and well received in their new home country. Since 2006 Nartan and Harida started offering meditation retreat on their land in Alentejo, and since 2010 also the yearly Osho Festival of music and meditation, which is well known throughout Portugal and Europe.

”The simple principles of the way of the heart in whatever we do is my main interest. Medtiation, music, being in nature, connected to the earth and sky, taking care of our body …emotional clarity, massage, good food and at times a detox are very important to me.”  Nartan
