HEALING THROUGH THE BODY - yoga and meditation

24 - 27 Aug 2017, with Puja and Bárbara

In this 4 day retreat, the invitation is to get to know ourselves and explore our capability to heal through the body. Our physical body is our first home. And so, we will dive deeply into our inner self through contact with the body, through touch, breathing and meditation. In communion with the rhythms of nature and its elements, let's open up to the teachings that our body has to offer us.

We will connect with the the 5 elements, both outside and inside of ourselves. Inspired by the nature that surrounds us, we will reconnect with our inner nature. Through different techniques of meditation like yoga, dance, breath, OSHO active meditations and group dynamics, we will have the opportunity to experiment diverse approaches to the healing process within ourselves.

Graduated in psychology and in love with the path of meditation, her vision is to combine therapy and meditation together as a way to contribute to the global awareness. All the methods and processes she facilitates have been important tools for her own person development.

Through different living experiences she had the opportunity to deepen her skills and learnings in many different areas of intervention.

Has completed several training courses in the Osho world. Within the various experiences and skills she has acquired, her work is supported by Focusing technique, Energy reading, Tantra, Osho active meditations, Subtle body healing, Primal childhood deconditioning and Tantra sexual deconditioning.

Discovered Yoga in 2004. Throughout her journey of inner search and development, she has practised and explored different types of Yoga - Hatha, Vinyasa, Iyengar, Kundalini. It was in 2014 that she decided to leave her profession as a journalist to devote herself entirely to the sharing of this practice, which transformed her own life. That same year, she discovered Anahata Yoga, which was in her own words “like returning Home”. Since then, she has been studying, practicing and sharing the teachings of this tradition. Anahata Yoga aims to promote the awareness and opening of our greatest energetic centre: the heart. Registered at Yoga Alliance International, Bárbara is also certified in pre and postpartum Yoga and Yoga for children and adolescents.

She has also completed a post graduate degree in Applied Positive Psychology (APP), the science that studies human happiness and flourishing, investigating and working on what develops physical and psychological well-being, both individually and collectively. She integrates this knowledge in all her lessons and training, by exploiting all the connections that exist between the practice of Yoga and the APP.

Bárbara’s work is broad and all-encompassing, she teaches Yoga for adults, facilitates classes for children and for women in pre and postpartum situations as well as therapeutic Yoga. She also delivers workshops on personal development and well-being. In all her work, the path she aims for is the one she continuously develops within herself: the path of the heart.
